  1. Saw one when i was younger walking up to pond by my parents place.didnt see a single brown patch on it.wasnt sure as it almost looked albino so sent pic to dec but couldnt determine much due to clarity of pic...(didnt know of pie bald deer at that point)...wish i had the pic.will have to see if have it around somewhere.only one ive seen.perty cool though!
  2. In my experience of muddy water and high water.fish out of the current if can.find pockets and pools where the fish will be hanging around.any type of cover or closer to the banks where the flow may let up a bit.keep lure as deep as possible(without getting hung up on something)..good luck!!...i myself didnt have luck this past saturday but saw a few fish caught another guy.was using a gold panther martin/mepps inline spinner, bouncing it off the rocks right along the bank.IMO the more "flash" you have the better.kastmaster spoons or spinners would be my go to.best of luck
  3. Congrats!another hunting partner!
  4. Back in.fished 7-9.caught 0...water levels prob went up a foot sence yesterday and muddy.fish are hugging the side of banks.saw a fish or two caught from other guys around fishing the edges.next time..

  16. My only one was in patch of pines i hunt all the time.set up kneeled down behind the base of a pine and a fallen pine infront of me for cover, with my leafy suit.was doing a little grunting and heard crunching to my left.6pt came in the direction i did not expect(should have figured that would happen) and ended up catching my movement as i was trying to position myself.bolted off to end of pine patch but had slowed down by then.got myself ready to draw n gave him a few soft grunts.curiousity got him as he walked the trail i had first anticipated something to walk down back into pines from hardwoods and presented a broadside shot at 25 yrds.nothing short of a real rush being eye level with one.as said in previous post.id rather bow hunt ground all day for the experience and rush of it
  17. I have,only once..6pter.many other close encounters but couldnt seal the deal.its a rush
