Here are some pics now that I had Some time to take them. I really Need to lose a few more lbs now that I look At them lol. Almost everything being done from home the last year hasn’t done me any favors. In any case, very comfortable and should be fine under a t shirt as well.

Yep. Just a few as I’m having trouble finding ammo, but so far I love it. It’s not as jumpy as I was originally thinking it might be. Once I find some ammo, I’ll do a better review.

My Crossbreed belt and holster came in. It is a night and day difference with the belt. I can Still feel that it’s there, but no more jabbing me in the hip, do printing with it and it’s no longer pulling down on my jeans. Buck master was spot on thinking it was mostly the belt causing my issues before. I wish I had Gone this route a long time ago. I’ll get some pics and post them later on.

Had a fun day on Conesus today. Saw a ton of fish, and ended up breaking in my new Duckett rod and reel setup on these two Pike! You all will see a lot of posts from me in this thread this year, as I joined a fishing club and will be fishing tournaments all summer.

Nope, the grip is great. I looked at the XDS as well, and this one definitely feels different. It’s just a touch wider due to the stack and a half design vs the single stack XDS.

So after reading these posts and doing some other research, I bought a gun belt and decided to grab another holster as well. I went with Crossbreed, as I really like the looks and reviews on their slide adjust leather gun belt. I got One of their Supertuck holsters to try out as well. Maybe that will end up sitting around if I end up liking my current Kydex with the new belt. I like Having options, so it can’t hurt. I’ll check out the Kore belts as well, again, I like options and more than one belt is a must.

Pants size isn’t an issue. I can Take most of mine off without unbuttoning them. Maybe it’s my belt that’s an issue. My normal hole in the belt is too tight and next one is too loose. I’ll get one of the more adjustable ones and see how it feels. I juat don’t really like the plastic feel, which is why I was looking at Crossbreed, as the leather goes against your body.

I have that covered

If you were closer I’d definitely be interested. Always good to get different tips etc from different instructors.

I purchased a kydex IWB holster for my SA Hellcat, and it’s nice, holds the gun very well and all, but I cant get used to the feel of it. I’ve tried it at 3, 4 and 5 o’clock positions and at 3 o’clock it’s ok, but I usually like more of a 4 or 5 o’clock carry, and this one is really not comfortable there. I’ve been looking at other options, such as the Crossbreed Supertuck that will give me leather against my body to up the comfort a bit. What are all of you using? Figured I’d get some opinions before I buy Another one.

I like It better because of the stippling. It’s only a hair thicker than the XDS

I doubt It. I want To keep it small and light.

Is there a free app that shows property lines

The free ones are not that great. I have a yearly subscription for OnX, and it is well worth the small amount that it costs. -
And there’s where it gets tricky. The example that I have Experience with, Honeoye creek, for a lot of the summer is dry with a small mostly shallow running creek with deeper pockets that hold fish. When it rains a lot and in the spring, it’s quite a bit deeper and in most places 30 feet or more wide. The DEC officer pointed out that the defined creek bed, even when dry, is not private property. In the pictures below you can see what I mean.

If it’s navigable with a canoe or kayak at any point of the year, you don’t own it. The actual law is more complicated, but that is the ultra short version in simple terms. Had this discussion years ago with ENCON and a land owner that called them because I was Fishing a section of Honeoye creek, which I walked to up the creek bed. if yours is only 8 feet wide, I wouldnt think that would be the case though. Just give a shout to the DEC and ask.

The grip on this is perfect as is. The stippling is great. I doubt I’ll monkey with this gun at all.
-
Yes, it’s not like the ones S&W uses though. I barely feel these. It’s put on there to be some sort of safety I guess. Most of the SA handguns use a pinch safety where there’s a button on the back of the grip and the 2 stage trigger. These don’t have the pinch safety.

Congrats!

Lol I actually Avoided looking at one when they first came out because I didnt want the wise cracks, but it’s just such a perfect carry piece and I love SA products. Always had the best luck with them. Can’t wait to see how this one shoots.
-
If they would have, I would Have left with them lol. They have a bunch of 55gr 223 fmj. I have A crap ton of it and don’t want to buy it just because it’s there and feed into the hoarding.

I ordered mine from We The People Holsters. Vacuum molded Kydex with the second amendment screen printed on it. It has the clip that goes under the belt like you describe. I’ll post a pic when it gets here.
