I agree that you probably dont need the 50mm for deer hunting. The large objective lenses like 40 and 50mms are for light gathering. I use mine for hunting coyotes and fox at night. On my deer guns, I have 32mm objectives. Just my opinion though, I know guys that love the bigger objectives on their deer guns. I like having the adjustable magnification, just remember to keep it on low power and crank it up if you need it. Glad to hear they are starting to tighten things down. Its a bummer for your friend, but he probably wont forget again. I dont put the tag on the animal till its in the truck or at my house if Im hunting here. You dont have to tag it in the field, just fill the tag out and have it with you.

Nope. Blu Rays need to be played in a Blu Ray player. The difference between DVD and Blu Ray is how much capacity they have (Blu Ray has alot more) and the format they are encoded with.

So what you are saying is that you believe that because Im a moderator, that I shouldnt be allowed to disagree with someone or defend myself when being accused of basically being a poacher? Im a member here just like everyone else and enjoy participating, just like everyone else. It doesnt make the site look bad. If you actually go back and look at what I posted in this thread, my first post was to try and help the OP out by suggesting he call Deer Search. After that, I let everything go until I couldnt take being called a poacher any longer. At that point, I posted information that cleared up the issue, and in no way was I derogatory toward anyone when I did it. I also gave my opinion on the shot in a non-accusing, polite way. I suggest you take your own advice and PM me if you have something like this to say instead of clogging up a thread with your accusations.
