deer science is the way the whitetail live.Everything they do within survival.That is the things you have to study to become a better hunter.Their patterns,eating habbits,travel patterns,breeding phases.All this can be changed by pressure and if little pressure you can more likely get closer to a kill by studying them.

i miss it.I look foward for bow and by the time gun gets here i hardly hunt.I even go out with the bow when i hunt some stands i have in the thick areas with a 30 yard max shot. Can't wait till 2013 archery.thats for sure.

depends on hunting pressure and deer population and what terrain. Its just another day if they aren't pressured.Then you have to take deer science into concideration,.

depends on your area,for one.Sunrise is Different all across ny. But in my are 7:03 was sunrise on OD.it was a 6:28 shot then. Sunday it was 6:18. I know at 6:28 i could see 50 yards but i couldn't see any back stop out at 100 or so,or some limbs that may mess that shot up and cause a ricochet.

its just i the middle if you ask me.As long as there is receptive does there is going to be chasing.I saw a little yesterday.

Moving every two hours?What a dummy.I try to sit all day during archery.If not,i will move to different trees only when i go then come back.I have my favorite trees i sit in but i don't over do those trees.the climbing up and down them is what kills the spot.Some trees are only morning trees and some evening. I also over hunted my land i think during archery even tho i am very carefull about entry and exit.I saved my back yard sanctuary for gun.Just to have the neighbors ruin that.All the 4 yrs they have been there they never hunted.Now they are?UGH!!And its just walking thru thick crap.You gotta hunt that sitting above it.Getting in an hr before sunlight.And tip toeing out.UGH!Now my other neighbor is gonna have them bedded on his land,since he hardly ever hunts.

pigs travel.And they root up some gound.Check your wet swampy areas for where they or he rooted up the gound.It is definitly distinguishable when you see where they root it up. Did you find any tracks?

saw nothing and all the shots were far far away.So hardly any pushing.Good i guess for next weekend.Maybe they won't be all spooked.fingers crossed. But to top it off the bedding are behind my house i saved for gun,by not stinking all up and spooking deer.Well the neghtbors has a bunch of younger guys running all around his oh,2 acres scaring every deer in the bedding area.I don't want to go down to try to catch the trespassing on my land or my stands cause i will just push the deer to them on my way down.Hopefully they are just there today.Sucks i saved it for gun and they spook it all up.The other 80acrs behind me only has 1 hunter too.So that sucks.Now they wont bed here.grrr.freaking idiots.wish i could paint them with paint balls.

6:18 this morning.Three shots in a row.7:03 is sunrise here.I couldn't see good enough to shoot at 6:18.People are freaking nuts.

6:28.first shot i heard.It was still pretty dark.I looked thru the scope and i could see but not clearly.Some people are nuts.

call dec but i think you can cause they are an invasive species.They aren't protected and if you don't shoot it and it mates with a domestic pig and those pigs can inbreed and mate then we are doomed.If i see one it's on the ground.No questions asked.They are very bad to get into your area. One guy shot one in cortland county a couple yrs ago.450 lbs.It was believed to be an escapee pig from a farm nearby.He shot it then called dec. I am not telling you to.But i am saying if i see one.It is dead.

I would call them first.Then set up a stand and shoot that sucker.

i don;t think it is impossible.They can inhabit any area.i don't know if there is any farms near by that have boar hunts.usually around here thats how they get here.They move in quick when they do but a single boar that far from other groups of them with out being an escapee.I know there is groups of them in PA but only single sightings in cortland county and i think they were escapees.Give it time and they will be destroying acrs of land at a time,costing tons of money in cny.
