Have had zero issues with any Burris product. But I know exactly how you feel. Im the same with Bushnell. Count me out.

The picture was definitely not pleasant, but I didn't think it was removal material. But once it was removed, it shouldn't have been reposted, twice...

Happy birthday -
The saddle mount and the Burris FF3 arrived today. While it's definitely higher than the rib, the couple snap shots I took today at a tree stump were not as bad as I thought. Not conclusive results, but nevertheless encouraging.

Boiled down 400 gal. Bottled 7 gal.

Happy birthday..

I looked for a cantilever mount that fastens to the rib, but couldn't find one.

My 1187 isn't drilled and tapped is the reason I went with the saddle mount. Really didn't want to go the gunsmith route.

No I haven't. If I don't like the mount, I'll probably get a Burris speed bead mount. https://www.burrisoptics.com/mounting-systems/mounts-and-bases/speedbead-mounts

Ordered a saddle mount and a Burris fastfire 3 for my 1187. Should be here tomorrow.

Checked the two totes tanks yesterday around noon. The first had barely 15gal. Checked today around 3PM, and the first was full, and the second had 50gal and the sap was flowing fast. Temps were dropping fast, so I don't think the second tank will gain much. I'll collect in the morning, and start boiling as soon as the head tank is full. Figuring we'll have 450+gal of sap. Tomorrow isn't supposed to get much above freezing with the high winds. So probably not much sap flowing Tomorrow.

I'm anti vegetable. But the pic's of the gardens reminds me of my childhood. One the required me to till, plant, weed, and never eat, lol. But still fond memories.

Makes me realize how untalented I am.

There definitely far more realistic than the deeks i had yrs ago.

Got $150 in cabelas gift cards to use up. And since turkey season is coming fast, I was looking to see if there was something I needed. Couldn't believe the prices of deeks. Some are $200+. Needless to say I didn't buy any deeks.

No problem. Everyone was told it was pulled for lack of interest/effectiveness. Clients son is a big wig in the lyme prevention, treatment. He's the guy who told me the real reason it was pulled. Everyone in my family has had lyme, as well as most of my friends. So far I've never had it, and I get multiple tick bites every yr. Either I'm one lucky SOB, or the shots were effective.

Ya, I was a victim of the previous vacancie. Severe arthritis symptoms that didn't go away. I'll pass.

Holy crap. I've got 3 of them.

Nice looking rig. Congrats. Looking forward to the first critter pic in the bed.

Snow pack definitely helps. Cools the roots off at night drawing the sap down even if the nights don't quite freeze. No snow pack in my area, so the sap stayed up in the limbs the past couple days.
