  1. Possibly yes. Never going to this area it would be nice to know whats around however I know the next couple weeks they are going to be changing patterns. But if I know they are there somewhere I can try and find them once we get there. I can make up my mind. May check them quick and leave them since they aren't far off field edges.
  2. Well to top it off today we just got the PSAT sign up for out oldest my wife told me to shut up. Lol. Apparently sending the baby to school and PSAT stuff for the oldest in 2 days didn't set well with her.
  3. There is a saddle I wanted to check out the day we went down and never got to it. Might be worth checking back out. Guess I will decide this weekend if I'm going.
  4. Glad I'm not the only one who gets inpatient that's all of our problem we want to know but don't want to mess anything up either.
  5. Don't have any this year. I make 1 big investment a year into my gear and this year was a high end tree stand for mobile hunting. Next year will be 2 cell cameras. 3 if I can get a good deal on one somewhere.
  6. Yea not worried about the drive only takes an hr I could be down and back by 10am. Might just go pull cards and see what's on them and if I need to relocate I will real quick. If we wait to pull then I'll check them during the middle of the day. Both are by field edges. I know where they are bedding g just want to see what's running around.
  7. So I'm torn. I have two cameras setup in pa not far of a walk on each piece. I really want to know whats on them and I'm thinking about running down next week to pull them to see what's on the cards plus I don't want them to get stolen even though they are well above I site. Question is should I just leave them until we get there the second week of October to huntor just run down and pull them now?
  8. I had to kinda push him towards the other kids after we hugged him goodbye. It takes him a little bit to open up so today he will probably be to himself. He new where his little locker area was and his lunch info. He likes having a routine so he should thrive in school. He has a kid from daycare in his class and he also knows the teacher from outside of school because my wife has been friends with her daughters since they were kids.
  9. Well the baby of the house is officially off to school. My son and our last child is off to start his first day of UPK today . Mom road the bus with him and I met him there. He was so excited last night he got his bag packed, clothes picked out and ran to bed when we said it was time. Time goes to quick feels like I just sent my oldest to her first day of UPK and now she's a junior. Wife was a crying mess when we got home. Tried taking pictures with him this morning before the bus but he was so hyper and excited to go I had to pretty much hold him down to get a couple.
  10. Congrats on the deer today @Chef and @WNY Bowhunter. Nothing like stocking the freezer early.
  11. No deer down? I figured someone would of spilt blood today.
  12. Yea I'm ready minus clothes being washed and practicing with my stand. I'm down to my one arrow a day just pick different distances out to 30yrds and angles and shoot. I do need to practice shooting sitting down but if I have to sit to shoot they will be close. I can't shoot sitting very well. I'm not ready for PA besides scouting and buying tags. Need to start packing a little bit each week because it's coming up fast. Otherwise it's time to get into the woods.
  13. Only with a firearm. Last spot before trapping info
  14. Isn't tomorrow early season doe for some of you? If it is have fun filling your freezers hope to see some pictures in the morning. On my way to work tonight seemed like every meadow had deer in them.
  15. Fall decorations go up this weekend not much else as of right now I'm sure it will change. We have a bunch of family stuff the next 3 or 4 weekends and then nothing until November planned
  16. I work nights and was on my way home my friend that hit it worked in the same place on days. He hit it on his way to work and someone else I worked with on nights got there before me and had a shoulder mount done. I saw it in person it's a huge buck.
  17. Found the picture of the one my friend hit last year
  18. I had a friend hit a nice one this time last year. I'll see if I can find the photo. That is a nice buck rachunter.
  19. Phade looks like you have some bucks to chase. I can't wait to go on my PA trip. I have a couple cameras down there soaking. Need to get my hands on some cell cams next year. Killing me not knowing what's on the cameras.
  20. Same I have a couple friends that hate them but I've always liked the looks of them also.
  21. Find out when you come down for the ml hunt again this year.
  22. It's up there it has 150k but it will be my weekend vehicle. I kept my jeep to get back and forth to work because it gets 25/ gallon. So I won't put many miles on the truck but it will be nice not needing to borrow a truck. Hate having to ask people for help. Between dump runs and house chores plus back roads for huntinf it will save my jeep and pay for itself.
