7p late season buck shot by enigma.. We did it. Spotted a deer off the road on the piece I scouted yesterday. So se jumped in. I sent enigma down to where they like to escape to and right towards the end of the little push I was doing up jumped what I thought was a doe and fawn. Yelled to enigma they were coming and boom. Ended up being a spike and small doe.. The spike got to take a ride in my truck. I wont put enigmas face in the picture didnt ask his permission. But he got a buck down on stateland late season.

6 or 7 innwalk in on neighbors a ways off,3 more in meadow just across the road from where I was setup and 1 blew at me not sure how it caught my scent or saw me but it did. Tomorrow morning will be it for me going to go find some fresh tracks and go for a walk

In stand theres alot of feeding I the field. 300yrds on another property i saw 6 already out hyst hoping all the deer arent over there today

Heading back out going to my privaeland piece hoping something wants to hit the corn next to it.

Truck said 5 so I'm very happy in walking today. Just added another guy so hoping we can get one down.

Up and getting ready. Waiting on another forum member then heading out to hopefully knock a couple down. Never took a deer with a ml so everything is fair game.

Went for a drive to scout for this weekend and watched 8 cross into a piece of stateland and 4 or 5 feeding on private across the road. Cant imagine they are traveling to far in this snow.

Christmad eve is just appetizers and alcohol Christmas dinner will be the Turkey and whatever else my wife makes. I'm the official taste tester. Then my families dinner at my mom's will be our typical sea food dinner. Throw in a bunch of shrimp,clams,crab,legs,sweet corn red potatoes,butter all tossed into 1 pot then laid out onto the table and have at it. This will be the 25th year doing it. The best was my grandma in her 80s she would still crack the crab legs open with her bare hands while everyone else used the crackers. Also alot of 7&7s will get polished off

Thanks. My wife said I'm just hard headed. Told her I needed it done so I can hunt this weekend. So she may be on to something.

Snowblower was given to me. Neighbors got a big atv he usually does the length of it since hes got a driveway off of mine at the beginning. So I figured all i would need is the snowblower. Hes been plowing snow for the state so he didnt get his atv out before it got buried. I'm looking into a tractor for next year.

Just finished took about 12 hrs total. 300ft driveway and the parking area where my truck is. It's pretty out with all the snow.

I'm not far from 23 in oxford/norwich area. We got alot of snow but its light. I got about 32-38 depending on how the wind was blowing. Biggest issue was where they plowed the road it was just above the bottom of my windows on my truck at my driveway.

3/4 done with driveway should be done with a couple more hours in the morning. Then I have to decide take the ml in nut high snow for a chance at seeing something.

Ended up with 38inches. Driveway is halfway done. Taking a nap been up for 24 hrs. Then back at it until its done

Factory work and told us to stay put. Just got home. Me and another guys spent 3 hrs pulling people put making sure everyone left safe. Our management got in their cars and drove off

We are now fucking stuck down here per state police orders and they expect me to work a 12 hr shift. Not happening. when I got 3 kids and a wife at home. I can't even get my truck out of the parking lot. Sorry to piss and moan just frustrated and should be home with my family making sure they are safe.

This is a little more then 12inches. Its that high across the entire balcony but yet we haven't closed. It's up to my hood on my truck. It's still coming down hard.

Walk in with the lightest layer on I have and won't get to cold. Usually my base layers and a sweatshirt on top and base layer and jeans. Cool off in the stand before I finish getting dressed. I wear the Mickey mouse military boots. Once I get to the stand I put a hand warmer in between my sock layers and one in each boot. Then place those big body warmers one in the middle of my back about kidney level and one on the bottom of my sternum. Then put the rest of my layers on. Usually a medium pair of gloves and hand warmers in the pockets and I'm good to go.

Theres not to many vehicles left that are standard. I learned on an old Ford at my friends farm. There are a ton of people that have no idea how to drive a stick.
