I am not a fan of the bdc, you can get a nice nikon,Leopold, weaver,or bushnell in the 200 dollar range. I tell you thought I bought a spare cabelas powderhorn and for the 50 bucks sale price its very very impressive.
Rumor is S and W bought it but I can't confirm that..if I were in the market I would buy a new omega, used white or even a knight ultra light or mountaineer...
If you want a better bullet try the xtp or the hornady mono flex.
You can get 50 xtp for 17 bucks and 50 sabots 7 bucks or so...it sure beats buying pre papackaged. If you want a really good bullet the Barnes like is hard to beat.
If you can find them the speer deep deep Curl on .452 300gr is a bonded bullet and top notch.
Shockwaves are the same thing as sst. If it were me I would get the standard .452 xtp in 250 or 300 grain , you won't be disappointed. Buy the sabots separate from mmp or harvester and don't look back. Don't buy the magnum version as you are only achieving muzzle loader velocity s , hence the lack of expansion.
Don't waiste your time with the shop on hoosick, I am buying a 2015 570 sportsman this week from Griffin on central av, couldn't be happier with Bob and the team.
I have an old Sears with the poly choke. Shoots rifled slugs just fine.I have gotten deer and ducks with it , it was my first gun my father bought me at age 14, I turn 40 on Friday.I know it might not be collector material but it works for me.
Since I only shoot muzzle loaders now it's a safe queen unless my daughters want to try it out.
Was going to do seeds today just didn't have time. If the steakhouse are like the beef steaks sometimes they get to big and to much weight. what temp you think the heater is at. I was going to use a fluorescent lamp fixture.
