Damp powder..... On the breech plug keep the flame channel clear.
Since your using pellets that's my guess to your hang fire issue. Let the plug soak in a Windex/ water mixture...
Option 4 use a better bullet... Xtp, fpb, deep curl, shock wave, sst, or the Barnes line of bullets. Very very rarely is a max loaded need for supreme accuracy. Just my two cents, good luck
I fire bh209 from a clean barrel. Possibly bullet combo, it does require consistent seating pressure, and make sure your flash channel is clear of carbon.
What primer you using
Well check out harvesters sabots too. Their crush rib is very popular as some think they are made ofbetter polymer s then mmp. Buying seperate in bulk if far cheaper then pre package, same for bullets
I never have seen that issue, the rifling would have to engage in the same exact spot. Maybe the oils from cleaning, possible different sabot... We're they pre packaged sst or bought bullet and sabot separate. I think if pre packaged they are mmp sabots . Maybe mmp hph Ez 3p but I can not be 100% sure on that one.
No point of impact difference for me using a crush rib sabot and xtp or deep curl bullet. I have even done it with conicals and had no different poi ..
