  1. Damp powder..... On the breech plug keep the flame channel clear. Since your using pellets that's my guess to your hang fire issue. Let the plug soak in a Windex/ water mixture...
  2. Doe permits for sure, sure nys really needs to look at things. In our area its been on a fast decline since 2007
  3. Option 4 use a better bullet... Xtp, fpb, deep curl, shock wave, sst, or the Barnes line of bullets. Very very rarely is a max loaded need for supreme accuracy. Just my two cents, good luck
  4. White hots are the same thing with out the dye.store them in a dry place and keep moisture away and your good
  5. Maybe try going up or down in your charge by five grains , it does burn hotter then t7 if I recall.
  6. I fire bh209 from a clean barrel. Possibly bullet combo, it does require consistent seating pressure, and make sure your flash channel is clear of carbon. What primer you using
  7. Well check out harvesters sabots too. Their crush rib is very popular as some think they are made ofbetter polymer s then mmp. Buying seperate in bulk if far cheaper then pre package, same for bullets
  8. Mmp makes sabots for Hornady. Google it and give Del a call.
  9. I never have seen that issue, the rifling would have to engage in the same exact spot. Maybe the oils from cleaning, possible different sabot... We're they pre packaged sst or bought bullet and sabot separate. I think if pre packaged they are mmp sabots . Maybe mmp hph Ez 3p but I can not be 100% sure on that one.
  10. I have never had a issue reloading the sabot when taken out from the breech plug. Nor have I seen an impact difference. Just my two cents.
  11. I have tested over 200 crush ribs with no poi difference, maybe mmp sabots react different. What type of sabot is it.
  12. No point of impact difference for me using a crush rib sabot and xtp or deep curl bullet. I have even done it with conicals and had no different poi ..
  13. 6k is hard hunting, is that the mdu
  14. You should be able to get the 300gr xtp on line, if not the mag version is still out there along with the xtp 250gr.
  15. If anyone wants to pm me info it would be greatfull
  16. I sure wish nys would re consider the on line ammo buying.lots of odd caliber s can be had much cheaper on line.
  17. Midway has listed them coming soon for the past 4 months.... I won't be switching from deep curls or xtp for them.
  18. I have been waiting but no one seems to have them in stock. Seems like $$ like the Barnes line of bullets.
  19. Not many apples on my tree compared to last year. No pies or sauce made by me this year.
  20. Mounties for me, love the m990i and and others too
  21. Treasure every freaking minute of it, nothing can compare....prayers and best of wishes
  22. Looks like 850 from the website of it's the camo one..
  23. Although not a fan I think there ignition system takes care of burning all four pellets. I am unsure if bh209 is recommended or not it .
