I read reviews and they were mixed ,I'm hoping it serves as my backup to my president 35 with st croix rod . I'm just not sure what 6 to 6.6' rod I'm going to get .

I picked up a pflueger Trion 30 reel as a back up, its surely no comparison to their president line. Its nice but the president is much better Now just need to pair it with a rod .

Thats what we did mow as short as you can, harrow should work fine in that application..I think you'll be happy -

Your in saratoga co right, try albany co if you want frustration. It took me 18 months 20 plus years ago. First issued hunting and target. After three interviews with Judge over 20 plus years I got no restrictions at all ,first two attempts was denied with out reason but was granted camping and hiking on second attempt .

I'd never go back to grease of any type.i guess what works for one might not work for another

Suprised no love for Teflon tape, I'd never go back to grease of any type.

Using teflon tape in place of breech plug grease is the best way to go. And you can use the pink tape over the white as it is stronger. There is no mess with tape as there is with grease and it usually comes right off after your shooting session. Just wrap your breech plug with one tight layer of tape and put it in the rifle. Seals breech good with no blowback and will not cause your BP to stick like sometimes happens with grease. My two cents and experience
