Fact is there are more articles about hunting and tactics than big bucks. And the fact that you just admitted to like to hunt for reasons other than antlers. So I think you should celebrate that you can admit hunting is fun and meat is important. Maybe to celebrate you can eat balz with Wolc.

So do they come back to camp if they don't get the big buck. I mean why bother if they don't get a big one. I am sure they prob come back for your encapsulating personality but still. Must be they had fun even without the antlers. Guess they can be counted for our 99 percent

Well you see it wasn't a big buck contest either. So the person that won didn't get the biggest buck but had the best year. So again it wasn't about the biggest buck or most antlers. It was about the best year.

so when you took your kids was it a waste of time when they didnt get a booner? and gald you have good hunting areas to be in and find those big bucks. And i am in no way reffering to the penned ones - i have no doubts you hunt and i am serious about that. But did you have a good time while hunting wiht your kids or was it all about the antlers ?

i would settle for "one" atta boy to a guy that helped his kid get a nice 4 pointer and posted a nice story. The from there maybe you could become human again. Those are far better reads than you telling everyone how jealous we are of your deer and that a 4 point is a waste of time.

well of course - duh X4 - but i will go out knowing that isnt likely. And get excited when i sling an arrow through a doe to fill the freezer and/or see a fox or a bobcat etc. It must suck sitting in the woods not enjoying yourself until a booner comes out. Makes for a long season. Why dont you just go on one of those shed hunts out west? its cheaper and can get some huge antlers. Or better yet the money you spend on hunting just go to New Zealand for red stags and can get all the bone you can imagine.

but that still doesnt prove your point. I like to hunt but not just for antlers. Have hunted that same area for years and got a big buck one time. Dont expect to get one next year but i will still go just as much.

all ive ever seen from him is poison to others. He did brag about his tractor and tell us about shooting yotes out of season. So yeah all that is cool, but other than that I am crazy with jealousy.

It cost me far more in donations to the contest for the winners than i was gonna get from winning the big buck contest esp since i knew i wasnt going to win. And I also predicted myself getting 9th if you will recall. I did it cause it was fun, kinda like hunting for us 99%. Nothing to prove but I like to have fun.

right the jealousy.... i forgot that. Glad you could remind me. I actually figured your life must really suck cause your always in such a bad mood and never have a good thing to say. Not even really a good story. Not sure why we are all so jealous maybe someday we wont be and you can be a nicer guy then. I think that for a person that claims its all about the horns in such a nice way they tend to look for some proof to be jealous about.

being self aware is not one of your strong suits. so why dont we all just take all the money we spend on hunting in NY and go to a high fence and shoot a booner............im sure you would like that. But instead people spend it on food plots and land and etc. Dude you dont get that its the process , the hunting the whole package. I can buy antlers online but not the experience. you seem to miss that

if you asked your big time trophy hunters i would bet they even answer that the reason they hunt for huge bucks is the challenge of a mature whitetail not the horns. It is the challenge and the difficulty of getting an animal like that not the horns only. its the fun and dedication it takes to do it.

no matter how much light is shined on you , you just cant get it. Again ...... oh course everyone likes to get a big buck .... again duh. But that isnt why we hunt - only you 1% ers . Its because we like to hunt. Why do you hunt squirrels - again - no antlers so why so you do it? So you hate every day you are out hunting unless you get a big buck? If thats so you shoudl give it up. And where i hunt a big buck isnt easy to come by so if i was out only for the antlers hell i wouldnt go. Like any hobby --- Im guessing your also "softball guy" - that only plays for the championship! Most people have a hobby they enjoy.

for you it sure is a fact. cant deny that. Other hunting threads - the coyote out of season threads? nope not on those. I usually get out once for yotes and twice for rabbits. But job and winter is a 60 hour week for me. But youll see me plenty on the fishing thread. Also happy when i get a bucket of perch and didnt get a 10lb walleye that day. I do see you in a few threads - spreading venom in all of them.
