1. This buck is from another forum. The poster is saying this NY buck is 157" and taken from 3N (Putnam County). I am not an expert at scoring by any means, but I don't see how this buck is 157". Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
 2. Just got back from Aruba. Are crossbows legal for 10/1 yet?
 3. Just saw this now. Was in Aruba for the 7 days. Shoot me a PM and I can send you some of the "typical" questions that I ask all outfitters regardless of the type of species.
 4. Fenway Park will be electric tomorrow night!

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

5. Agreed and then next in line should be his Dad and the other family members who are accusing the USA of framing him and targeting him, etc.
 6. They got him. He's already going through round 1 of torture. The first 10 FBI agents on the scene get to bite off 1 finger each. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
 7. Or dragged down newbury street alive by his balls for the city to watch n cheer.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

8. Hope they get him alive n hang him by his balls from the green monster!

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

9. I am always doing heavy heavy research on outfitters. I will search hunting forums in that state and nearby state, I google owners names, etc. Personally, I prefer small family run businesses. However, I did have a great experience in Wyoming. 20 Mule Deer hunters there the same week as me and all but 1 tagged out. I took a quick glance at Harpole's Heartland Lodge. I assume you are bowhunting? In my opinion, I would not go there for 3 main reasons. 1. They quote 60% opportunity rate (which includes gun hunters). Obviously this means "success rates" are even lower than 60%, so say 40-50% success rates. Depending on the cost of the hunt, this might not be bad. However, 2. $3,950 for a Nov. Rut Hunt (Archery). Thats very high for such low success rates. Also a lot of $ considering your sitting in a treestand/blind. Not like your $ is going towards gas and/or guide's time. I assume you are dropped off and picked off. 3. Way too commericalized of an outfitter business in my opinion. I think you can go somewhere for 5-7 days archery with 80+% success rates for around $3,500.
 10. $ depends on the property n how many others will have access. Please PM to discuss. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

 12. Looks my Dad and I took 2 out of the 130 bucks taken in Carmel.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

13. Once again belo, if u don't like sharing with others then go buy your own land and patrol it.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

14. I was deer hunting in PA when I shot that porcupine. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
 15. Anywhere close to NY border. I know of some good archery only state land in CT, but looking for more options (private). Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
 16. Your argument makes no sense. I killed a snake with just a stick once. So does that mean we should hunt with just a stick? Soon, we will all have the "privilege" of being able to choose between Recurve, Traditional, Compound, or Crossbow during the archery season. You pick what you want, and I'll pick what I want.
 17. losers. Couldn't get more than 8 miles away in 3+ days. "I have no American friends". Hope they catch the other brother alive n torture him!

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

18. Nice, good luck. I think I'm gonna head back to Wyoming in 2014. Looking for a cheaper outfitter though.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

19. Nice! I have the vortex so it would be legal in PA, NY, n CT. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
 20. Honestly, it doesn't matter what any of say we want or how hard we fight. Just a matter of time before DEC gets what it wants.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

21. Yes. First & only crossbow kill to date.
 22. BELO -- In regards to this: "and if you're hunting public land or shared private land, taking a precious vacation day, up early and scent free in your favorite spot enjoying the sun rise and some clown comes traipsing through the woods with his crossbow, orange hat and smoking a cigarette it wont bother you? Because what I'm describing to you is an actual experience I had during gun season, but has never once happened to me during bow season." I am coming for you!!!! HAHA
 23. What does it matter what I do? My personal tasting preference are the backstraps. I don't care for the hamburger meat, etc. Instead of paying $90 to get the deer butchered, now I pay nothing and get the backstraps. The rest of the meat goes to a food bank. It's a win-win for everyone.
 24. I donate the meat n only keep backstraps.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
