  1. Thats how you show you proof of a story that DID ACTUALLY HAPPEN........Any further questions, I would be happy to answer.
  2. Here's the youtube video > Here's the record book > http://www.wildliferecordsofbc.com/record%20book.htm you can buy yourself a copy. Here's the guide he was with > http://www.babineguides.com/ Heres the link to the mount > http://huntingny.com/forums/topic/3754-trophy-room/page__hl__%2Btrophy+%2Broom__fromsearch__1
  3. Last year the bass tank was pretty cool.........where a bass pro was using different lures/techniques and you could see the bass react and strike different baits, etc.
  4. 91lbs would be 100lbs soon, right?
  5. The avg. salary is probably like $35K per year in Coventry, not exactly rocket scientists living there. I'm sure 65lbs could look like 40lbs and 100lbs could like 50lbs.
  6. FACT = My Dad shot the # 2 and # 5 biggest Wolf in British Columbia. Neither of them reached 150lbs........if there are 100lb coyotes running around, its only a matter of time before people start getting eaten by them....not attacked and bitten, im talking eaten.
  7. 65 - 85 is huge........honestly anything over 40lbs is huge. They aren't that big out west, nowhere close....I shot a 22lb Coyote in Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada with a beautiful coat..everybody out there said that was average size for them out there. When I told them there are 40-50lbers in NY, they couldn't believe it. When seeing a coyote run 40-50 yards away from you, im sure its easy to guess the weight wrong. Its an adrenaline rush and a 40-50lber can look like 65-85lbs, point is, they aren't that big. If they were, someone would have shot one by now and had it officially weighed. When was the last time anybody officially weight a coyote in at 60+lbs in NY? Please let me know.
  8. I thought the point of a hunting forum is for true stories. If it isn't, then I guess I came to the wrong site. Stay tuned for my report on a 106lb coyote that I am about to kill with a nail clipper.............get what Im saying? You came out with a pretty intense and bold story....now back it up, or my opinion this thread should be locked and/or deleted.......No way does something like you described not end up in the paper, etc.....SHOW THE PROOF or stop posting nonsense stories. Your 16 years old....old enough to know better than to be a little tool who posts fake stories on hunting forums.
  9. How can you not have enough room for small bucks/skulls? Unless you got 200+ of them...considering your only allowed 1 or 2 a year....it would take years to even get to the say 50 racks.
  10. I agree. I'll take my weatherby .270 magnum anyday over any T/C Rifle chamber
  11. ? I dont get it.....how does plastic, felt, rubber make them smaller to keep?
  12. It's definitely not what it used to be by any means....but I still try go to go every year....chance to talk with a few guides/outfitetrs I have used in the past, my taxidermist is always there, my bait shop is there, etc....
  13. 16 years old and you want to drive around in a pickup with high school chicks? Haha, I think you want a Corvette, Mustang, BMW, etc.
  14. Why wouldn't you let your Dad help you out if he is willing?
  15. just steal one bro. In Coventry, anything goes. The townies police themselves right?
  16. If all these things happened in a small town of less than 2,000 people, wouldn't at least 1 of them show in the local paper? I know if any of these things happened in a small town located in westchester or putnam county, it would be in the newspaper the next day. My point is....if you want people to believe you, just post a simple copy of the newspaper article or police report from any of these events...I'm especially interested in the 91lb. coyote.
  17. why do you guys like to cover up the skull? Sorry, im just not a big fan of the leather, felt, or plastic look....I prefer the actual skull.
  18. Her prices are insanely cheap too.......your lucky to have someone that close to you.
  19. My Minnesota Bobcat Hunt was cancelled in December (lack of snow), but I am going next year (if they get snow lol)....anyway, if I am lucky enough to get a mt. lion, and then a bobcat both in 2012, all I will need is a Lynx for the "North American Cat Slam!"
  20. Yea, not bad at all........I chose the Tom Hunt for $3K. Hopefully I get one. To me its a once in a lifetime type of hunt, in that I would never go for a 2nd one once I got one and have a full body mount done. Also this is a dry ground hunt, which isn't as common as most other mt. lions hunts which are conducted only with snow on the ground.
  21. When my Dad got his mountain lion about 15 years ago in Colorado, the Mt. Lion was in a rock cave and the dogs got too close....the guide told my dad to shoot the lion as soon as he pulled his last 2 dogs away from the mt. lion. My Dad shot the lion at point blank range. Unfortunately, for the guide the lion clawed the guides arm down to the bone as he pulled his dogs away. The guide wrapped his arm with t-shirts, got the lion of the mountain, etc....then went to the hospital for 80+ stitches.
  22. Cool mount! I see black squirrels in westchester county all the time where I live, but never in putnam where I hunt! I want one to mount, to put next to my first ever grey squirrel which I have mounted.
  23. Leaving in less than 3 weeks to go to Arizona..... this video gets me pumped > It was taken by the guy I will be hunting with.
  24. Thats one crazy dream.....did you wake up sweating?
  25. Could be porcupines...they strip bark off of trees.
