  1. Acorns have been hit and miss on the spots I've hunted so far. Some lots, some less than normal and some varied within a few yards. The last spot I hunted had loads of acorns near the swamp, but 50 yds away, barely any. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  2. One point for Team 1. Doe taken on 10/18/20 with dmp, since dmps count now. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  3. Google "New York hunter safety course". It is now offered online. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  4. The doe I killed today was within 30 yds of a stand that was probably used recently as there was sign of a recent deer gutted within 50 yds of the stand. You can burn stands out, but if the deer are using an area, just moving a few yards away can make a difference. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  5. Forgive the poor photo. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  6. I got a young doe tonight. Very thankful, because I made a poor shot. Nevertheless, she went 50 yds did a flip and that was it drt. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  7. Good luck bflohunter! Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  8. I've been on stand since 1. Saw a hawk, 2 small does and a bunch of squirrels. Not sure what made the 2 deer run. Pretty sure neither saw me or smelled me. Still that's more than I saw yesterday. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  9. I'm on evening watch in 1c. Lots of highway noise and wind noise, beautiful day to be in the woods. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  10. The result was worth the wait. That rack deserves being properly displayed on a shoulder mount. Nice work. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  11. Got mine yesterday. Good tip on loosening the back cap to avoid accidentally turning on in pack. That is my main complaint with my Black Diamond headlamp. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  12. Good to have the hunt turn out successful for that young man, with a little help from Luna and you. You made that young man's day, and one he will remember for years to come. Must be very satisfying to make such a difference. Congrats on the recovery. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  13. Sorry for your loss. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  14. Lowered my bow, looked up and saw a big brown blob that wasn't there before. Could not make out much, but it was a big deer and it ran off. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  15. That's a wrap. Spike is 70 yds downwind, but not blowing or anything. Will give them a few more minutes to clear out before climbing down. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  16. Ignored the grunt. Still about 70 yds pounding acorns. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  17. Crappy photo. Turned out to be a small 8 pt. Closest he came was about 35 yds. Heis still at 60 yds. I'll grunt just for the hell of it. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  18. Probably can't see it, but that's the spike in the middle of the photo, back to me head into the wind. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  19. Spike and a slightly bigger buck came in to about 50 yds. The spike bedded. The other bucks out of view, but presumed bedded after working a licking branch. Hope they move before sunset. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  20. Today's hunt was uneventful until right at sunset when a doe and spike came through. The doe busted me at 10 yds. Not bad, the deer stuck around a while and I waited for them to move off. Then the doe started blowing. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  21. I'm in. What's the sense in working from home if you can't run out for a quick hunt in October. One of the few bright sides of the virus. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  22. Yeah, knives and flashlights are almost irresistible. Just ordered 2 of those flashlights as well. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  23. Congrats Tacks on the double, Arcade on the stud, and Buffalo Jay on the doe. Nice work fellas. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
  24. Around 22 yds. A little in season practice. Just the one arrow. Not perfect, but I'll take it. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
