  1. Not smelling sucks.. most of the time. I lost mine when the swine flue came around a dozen years ago or so? It never returned. I can smell something like pvc glue if I put my nose over the can..
  2. Nice! Meanwhile this is one of the five 1 1/2 yr old bucks I see on my cams..lol..
  3. Couple shots in the field behind me. And 1 hunter walking in front of me .other than that nada this afternoon. Purty sunset though.
  4. Dang .I'm going to have to change my morning hunt story to lots of turkeys flying overhead not geese.. oops.. I'm going to have to study up on my birds..
  5. Yuck! Get better .The bucks cannot stand around too long waiting for you.
  6. Too small I think.. that's only 15' away from camera. Maybe the way the sun is , probably a coyote . I've had more pics of them than deer.
  7. Just recieved this pic. Camera is 1/4 mile from me. What the heck is it? Hound dog maybe?
  8. I know. I know. lol. I still seem to mess it up...They are all delicious though.
  9. A panoramic view . Beautiful frosty morning.. No deer, but lots of geese and a few ducks flying close overhead.
  10. I have the same problem, especially when I travel down to Letchworth. They are a little smaller down there on average. Not as much of a problem when I'm on the ground. I've passed up numerous ones thinking they are small and then the fawn comes out..Dam! Then the next time I shoot the fawn thinking it's bigger..;)
  11. Forecast is for 34ish tomorrow morning here. Brr. 70s last week
  12. I hate to admit it, but I cannot get myself to touch one of those things(eel).lol
  13. Nice! I did see alot of trout I'm the creek when I was out there in Dec.
  14. Not trying to advocate for small cartridges or be a jerk.lol. Heck, I use a .300 win mag. I'm just giving my experiences as well..
  15. Sorry, not my experience. They definitely did not pass through, but a few jackets on occasion would be under the hide on the opposite side.
  16. Strange. I've seen them shot with .22mag, .17hmr, on up Right through the ribcage and into the lungs. Less than 50yd runs after the shot. I guess one never knows..
  17. Last day of northern muzzleloader. I decided I would come out and wack a doe.. a few have been coming out in a corner of a freshly chopped corn field on public land every evening. I havnt seen a person here yet this year. Wouldn't you know it .2 persons have that field pretty well covered. So I'm sitting in a little drainage ditch 100 yds off the rd . Not sure if I will tackle one or shoot it, they will be close. A couple good trails and scrapes behind me. I guess we will see. May be my lucky day.. my gf convinced me to go to the casino this afternoon (I will go 1 or 2 times every couple years) I won $1500.. let's see if it transfers over to my hunting luck..;)
  18. Chef, you have to relax.. You come across as a complete a$$.. From most reports you are not though..
  19. Did you actually see the skinned deer. I would have to see it to believe it. The only shots I've ever seen that didn't enter the body cavity were extreme quartering shots. I'm of the opinion everything else is a myth..;)
  20. That is crazy.. I'm fairly new at playing around with stocks in the last few years..I don't think you can buy stock warrants on Robinhood. I would have bought some stock this morning though..even 3× is nice..
  21. Dang it..lol.. I put in a limit buy this morning . Figuring I might make a little today. It never did drop down to my limit . I could have tripled my money. Oh well. Who knows..
  22. Yupper.. May even make it out tomorrow in the rain..
  23. True. But their lungs would like that milk jug.lol
