Can leave right on skids if you get ground contact pt ( good for 20years or so if ground contact rated), or go with black locust ( probably last 50 years or more no chemicals)

Ill still use my bow, much more menuverable in tight close quarter spots. Both have their advantages and dis advantages. Cant say compound takes much practice any more pins are set, peep in place simply pick up aim and release. Never shot high poundage so no strain to draw.
-
Funny how a compound only guy who sustained an injury to his shoulder and may not be able to draw his bow this fall told me well i guess i need to get not from my doctor so i can use x bow this year... imgine his surprise when i told him unless you plan on being a quadriplegic thats not happening... now he is upset this bill is for 55 and older and younger than 16... lmao let people use what they want , both kill by hemoraging and bot require same shot placements , they are not a rifle ( triggers are same as releases) yes they have a stock thats it. Amazing how ones view change when your season may be gone, when out of your control. You cant see 3 torn tendons but doenst mean the person isnt injured... Hope this passes as 1st step but the removing limits may get it killed although it did leave it to dec and i hope they keep them in place.

Shoot a doe with twin fawns early season not much fat on them then.

Had second tom going, walk right by below hunter and his father..neither saw it
-
Lots of gobbles in trees been quiet since 630. Had one come to 75 yards or so hen met him and that was it.
-
Niece did same.right over top... well its called hunting not killing
-
Peas are all planted, be a few weeks before rest can be put in as they are caĺling for snow Wednesday..
-
Had adult and 2 jakes come in ,niece missed at 20yards in for breakfast. Back out 930 try again . Birds put on good show strutting and gobbling few dozen times. Jakes stayed around after shot but were too close together for a clean 1 bird kill.

Well got birds roosted. Believe is a group of 4 jakes i have been seeing. Nice easy walk down main logging road roosted 50 yards off it just past ravine , definitely heard 3 birds fly up and saw 2 for sure. Had 2 different birds gobble... now the hard part sneaking in in the am and getting them to come way i want them to. Woods are very open and they roosted on a north slope even more open.. do not think i can get in closer than 100 yards with parent and child in tow.. boys 1st hunt ever.. In addition ibwas just informed my brother and niece will be down.. i know there are more birds but these will be hard to get past to get to top of ridge to move on others. With out a lot longer walk in the dark.

Wny, have a solid 30 acre patch. Take about 4 dozen plants a year ....lol
-
If I took a 3rd then I'd have 5 acres minimum to harvest every year.. Dig the bulbs but spread the seeds , and small patches are best left alone.
-
Can use saw dust, wood shavings, ect but need to watch phbas they will lower it. Straw in a layer will also work.
-
You can cut down larger shrubs like buckbrush and paint the outer edge of stump with 41% gly to kill them as well just use a paint brush. For honeysuckle and rose the spray the bush is easier . Why get in there and get all scratched up and have risk of ticks? but can only be done in spring so to avoid the incidental sprying of other foliage you want to keep. Later times of year is the cut and paint method.. I prefer to work less hard and the skeletons of the bushes easily break down in the year and are usually flattened by snow the next winter.with no soild disturbance or regrowth.
-
Depends on your % gly concentrate. About 6 Oz to gallon or 12 tablespoons is 41% a little more won't hurt but it's expensive so it's your cost out of pocket.
-
A half inch of leaf will work think of size of pussy willow buds. If it's green it's enough
-
Now is the best time to hit your invasive Honeysuckle and multiflora rose with a 3% gly solution!! This is a short window where only these are leafed out enough to be hit with a spay and not kill any incendentals.. kill them off amd let native browse grow your animal will love you for it!! Yes you can pull them but then you disturb soil and seed will grow, this is by far best method to remove these from your woods/ fields short time frame only have about a week before other woody plant will be budded out....

Got my last 2 garden boxes assembled and filled ready to plant.. now if weather would break. Hopefully after this weekend. these two are cedar sides, larch legs and bottoms with pressure treated reinforced underneath as width is 3ft .. only 10 in deep as that all the leftover cedar boards i had..
