  1. Crappyice what was the water temp ?
  2. Looking forward to the report and hopefully some pics.
  3. So I have a kubota bx tractor with the old turnbuckle style stabilizers. I really hated them . Time consuming pain in the butt, knuckle busting pieces of crap . They worked lose and bend / break off. I have replaced /repaired mine 2 times in 5 years .. I found telescoping ones from an outfit in S.Carolina as up till recently Kubota didnt offer them . I just installed mine from Stableworks. Perfect fit installed in 5 minutes. Took longer to get the old ones off as the shackle pins were bent . The old turnbuckle stabilizers. The new teloscopic stabilizers installed. The owner is a great guy to deal with . As he works out of his home and makes them one at a time ,It did take a while for him to get to my order but we'll worth the wait. I don't know about green or red tractors but most subs don't come with them if they offer them at all. I know my BIL had to pay extra for the ones on his m series kubota and his deer . I see kubota now offers them for subs as of earlier this year . I had already made the order with Marc and felt obligated to honor the order. Im glad I did . Now to figure out a way to plumb a hydraulic top link .
  4. Things get fubared when you rule by committee. Why should this be any different.
  5. Still to wet to do much on my plots I'm going up this weekend to clear a couple trees that fell during the winter . The wifes plot didn't grow much . That was all winter rye planted late . My clover / rye/ radish plot is growing like mad . Mowed it once at over 2 feet tall and might h ave to do it again . I would like to spray and disk a patch for radishes but I hate to disturb the plot .
  6. Had steak grilled, mashed taters, and garlic scapes . Wife and I had never had them . Looked them up on the net . We decided to saute them in olive oil pepper and salt. Served them with a twist of lemon . Was pretty tasty . Note to anybody that has never done them , cut the seed pod off with tips and discard as they are very woody . The good parts had the texture of asparagus with a hint of garlic taste. Rather mild but tasty. Looking forward to garlic harvest .. another month or so I guess .
  7. Took them a month from order to delivery. Considering its made to order thats pretty quick. Craftsmanship is superb. Free upgrade to the deeper net. I'm pretty happy. Lief is great people to work with. Answered the phone everytime except once ...called back in 5 minutes.
  8. I will be sure to look for it on my way up fishing the Conhocton River.
  9. Just received my new steelhead net . Stream walker lake run. Extra deep basket lazer engraved .
  10. Lower end of food plot had standing water.. I will probably have to mow again all that I pushed over with the tractor tires. Trying to figure a different way to mow . Brush hogging just pushes the tall plants over after it cuts. Mowing deck mows max 7 inches high. Farmer told me to try to leave it 10 inches . Thinking of buying a finish mower or a flail mower modifying wheels to make them taller.
  11. Had to go up and mow the food plot . Clover came in thick and was flowering. Rye was going to seed . Worst of all the rye was tripping my camera 1000 times a day . Went through 7 gigs of memory in 3 days .
  12. The big mom's to be have been off camera for 3 days I'm guessing they went off to have fawns . Wife loves the fawn pics . Every time there's a picture notification she asks if we have babies yet .
  13. A heavey loss for a family. May their sacrifice be remembered by generations to come .
  14. Just got back from cemetery number 4. New flowers for my grand parents and inlaws. There was an honor guard ceremony . Taps always makes the hair on my neck stand up. Cleaned around the headstones and ran trimmer after the ceremony. The cemetery crews dont take care of the place like they use to . It's sad ... you don't see people visiting like you use to . Thanks to all who serve and their families.
  15. Nice fish . Where did you find blue skies? It's been cloudy and rain here since Wednesday.
  16. Sunday noon ... right at the front door .
  17. The bottom looks silty..sandy . I don't catch many trout on a silty bottoms.
  18. Come on now your just a tease. Pretty net like that will make you a better fisherman .
  19. I just ordered my first custom net . Guy is supposed to be making it as we speak . Hickory and quilted maple. More money than most of my fly rods. Steelehead net .. wont need it until fall but it can't get here fast enough .
  20. I switched over to water proof fly boxes 10 years ago . I tend to wade deep sometimes . I still dry all my flies on a patch velcro to my dash.
