Orvis clear water package comes out about $376 rod reel backing and line . Really good warranty... med action 7'6".

Rac if your relatively new fly fisherman .. a faster action rod will mask alot of newbie mistakes . If you find yourself where your fishing smaller brush choked streams and your casts are to short for a decent amount of line out to load the rod just step up a line size or two . This will help load the rod . I also recommend picking up a spare spool for the reel you choose so you can set up extra lines for different rods or situations .

I will start out by saying I have alot of fly rods . Varying in line weight and length. No rod does it all . Small streams ... 1 to 3 weight would be my guess. Brush lined streams belive it or not a longer rod is your friend ... if its really thick you will dap more than cast... more little flips and roll casts. I would say 7 to 8 foot rod . Longer rods work as well in bigger water. Are you looking for dry flies smaller fish brookies browns in the 12 inch or less one weight to three weight . Bigger fish ... bigger flies bigger water 3 weight to 5 weight. Big flies windy days 5 weight . Thats a pretty simplified answer. Not taking in your style of casting or preference in action.

I know of 3 fine officers that put in their retirement papers.. not willing to put up with the political bull that ties their hands and prevents them from protecting the people and themselves. So I tried to buy a new one last fall my guy said they were backordered he would call . Stopped in today for some pm stuff and asked what was up . Said he hasn't gotten anything from lands pride on it . He called them while I was there and they are still looking at July for a new one . Kicker is they have gone up $300 bucks. So I'm on the prowl for a set 5 foot disk harrow 3 pt . Have about a month before I have to order if I am to get in on this batch. Anybody know where I can pick up a set please let me know .

Tractor out of barn .. oil changed. Chassie lubed. Topped off the diesel . Loader off cleaned and lubed . Mower deck greased, gearbox lube changed ,blades sharpened ,deck mounted . All by 9 am . Waiting for grass to dry having breakfast.

My little slice of heaven never had many birds. Some up acrossed the valley 1/2 a mile away . Now i see birds regularly in the fall . Have them on trail cam daily. Had a flock of 8 long beards roosting on my property all last fall . My grouse population is down and I have foxes ,yotes, Bob cats,and fishers on camera . I almost never see coons .

Water looks low by a foot or better for junction pool at this time of year . Willow doesnt get very deep most places compared to most rivers .

Dang ... nobody fishing ? I love fishing the willow. I have caught some nice browns out of it . Probably the best stream to get a triple on . Brookies brown and rainbows .

Been a while since I got to the bench here are my first try at the check nymphs and jigs .

I can tell you where I am at they won't. They are working on finding the proper testing for a 24 hour under the influence. Not a doctor so I don't know . All that are hired have to sign a zero tolerance no drugs . We don't do random testing . Tested for initial employment and at time of an injury. They also test after an absence of 30 days or more .
