From old to new

I got this gun from a friend and it looked like he started to reblue the gun. I got it for 50 dollars so I Figured I would redue the whole thing from stock to barrel. Pics aren't great and the barrel didn't come out as clean as I wanted but I think it came out nice looking.

What a difference!! looks great. I have a 22 that I want to do also but never really knew anyone that cold blued. What product did you use? any tips

I used the store bought blueing kit from dicks sporting goods. The directions said preperation is the key and they were right. I took 3-4 hours and steel wooled it and sandpapered in with a high grit sandpaper. Take your time and do it right?

Just an old 12 guage. Not worth anything money wise but it is a gun a friend had so it has some meaning.
