Track id help

These tracks where in some mud I am no track expert but I think they belong to a coyote. The problem is I thought they have four front pads while this seems to have three, does anyone have any idea what it is?

def a cat!!! big ass bobcat or mountain lion.... look a lot like panther tracks i grew up lookin at in florida swamp hunting... but ya'll don't have em up here, so maybe mountain lion, not sure where your at?

The claws would be retracted if it were a cat. Also, I bet it's got four front pads, just the squishy mud tracks makes that hard to see. Probably a coyote, how long/wide are they?

I never heard of a 3 front padded track, but looking close you can see the seperation in the lower picture of the middle pad being 2 not 1. The top track is alot more deceiving however.

Coyote. Maybe it has an injured paw or the mud was just so soft that it made it look like 1 pad.

Thanks for the input guys I live near in Delaware county, The tracks are about the dimensions of the coyote tracks on the chart Culvercreeck posted. What annoyed me I had a turkey nesting nearby now there is just a bunch of feathers and all the eleven eggs destroyed.

It's a visous circle of life.

I saw a young gosling almost get creamed by a car today. Ma & pa went and rescued it and brought it back across the busy road to see another sunset, hopefully.
