Poop/Dropping's

In the spring the droppings can look like mini cow pies....it's their system getting use to all the fresh greens....then they go to a moist pellet and some times clumped pellets...I can always tell when someone in the areas puts out salt ...for I'll run across runny piles...then in the late hunting season I some times find piles with blood in it and late winter very dry med brown from eating twigs and dried leaves....sometimes if you add tracks or urine in the snow I can tell if it's a good buck verses a big doe

It clumps fromm what they eat, drink. size will only tell you adult deer, or yearling, or large deer, if seen doe leave clumps in fall. a buck really cuts back on what its eating during the rut so there will be less bucks crapping in the woods.
