Well, I had an encounter with him in early archery, but couldnt get a shot, as he wouldnt step foot out of the standing corn. I heard that he had gotten taken pretty early in gun season. Someone sent me a link to his story on NYAntler's website today. It was really neat to finally see him after he was taken. Here he is...

Not far. Lets just say the location he gave in the story is incorrect lol. I know where the exact piece of property is he shot it on.

People around my parts are pretty protective of their hunting spots. If you arent a local, you usually dont hear about big bucks that get taken in the area. I was actually surprised to see it pop up on Joes site.

Starting to read this thread, I expected to see pics of him 2012. It really great that u took that attitude. Some hunters would be all po. Been nicer on your wall, but hey; u got pics and at least Mr. Cotter found him. Any idea what he scored?

I have no idea, but would say in the 140s - 150s gross if I had to guess.

This isnt the first time Ive had an encounter with a big deer, couldnt seal the deal and someone else took him. I dont get mad about it, whats the use? Its not my deer anyways.

In the last 3 years Ive been getting closer to more big bucks than I ever have in the past, with a bit of consistency. It will come together for me soon enough.
