I could not have done a better job writing than this guy . . .

Recommended Posts

Hold on, whos to say that Seigel ever emailed any letter like this? You saying hes a douche bag for sending it out is just as bad as someone that argues the points thinking that the guy wrote it in the first place.

Oh snap, pure awesomeness.... :bye:

The news story on Yahoo backs it up, he even said he sent it. Just saying

Just funny that people take the words of a chain letter modified by a D-bag, (and he is a d-bag) and stand around and cheer it on. This billionaire is so out of touch with reality it ain't funny, you should check out the documentary on him and his wife. This guy filed bankrupcy and never had to pay interest on his massive loans, he should be the last one we look to for advice on the economy.

The fear mongering message doesn't go far with me, basically he is saying you are free to vote for whoever you like but if you don't vote for Romney you will loose your job's. On top of that this particular guy already laid off a bunch of his employee's in 07 and can't control his own personal finances so who cares what he says.

Whether it's a chain letter or not, it makes some valid points. As a business owner myself for the last 18 years, I too have seen a slow but steady decline in my business since Bush left and Obama took office four years ago -- not to say that Obama's economic policies were the only reason but add the mortgage crisis and bank failures (which no doubt started during GWB's administration) into the mix and we had trouble brewing over the last four years and beyond that got way out of control during Obama's stint.

Funny how when fear starts to set in the minds of some people over this election the only way to make yourselves feel better is through nit picking and twist of words of what the intentions and said words are meant to be. I also find it humourous that these same people sit on there ass and copy paste quote and use thoughts from other people instead of there own words. But when someone who actually employs and has made him self succesful so his or her employees can also feed there families its finger pointing and redicule time. I also find it funny that while you sit there and bash an employer you find no ill feelings for cashing that paycheck you get every week that these people made happen for you. And yes I own 2 businesses myself. Started both from nothing but my own money I earned from being an employee. I can damn well tell you that business was much more profitable before the socialist mentality took office and deemed it necessary to micro manage americans. Until some of you sit in the employers chair, realize this isnt your 9 to 5 job you had way back when, worry for every employee that is relying on your success to provide a paycheck and the work for them all I can say is SHUT THE HELL UP! Cause you dont have a clue!

I think his point was that government is hostile to businesses, in the form of taxes and fees. Everyone seems to get caught up in how much money a business owner makes but they forget about how many jobs they create. Between the taxes this guy pays and the taxes his 6500 employees pay..... that a lot of cheddar.

Maybe it is a chain letter but look at what it says. Just my opinion

Ever wonder how much money these evil millionares have paid out in payroll alone? Think about that one.

Doewacker you missed my whole point. Meaning some people have no problems copying something someone else has written or done in there life and put claim to it. But when it is someone else who you dont agree with the harassing pursues. I can almost guarantee you at some point in your life you have quoted, used, copied, pasted, etc something in your life. A perfect example would be a prewritten letter from a hunting club written and email to be sent to a congressman. Then printed signed and mailed with a signature that wasnt from the writter. So the point is its okay for everyone else to do this while others might not agree with the intentions but when an employer does it who is substantially wealthy its not?

Nah Can't say I do chain letters and sign my name. I would love to see just how much this guy has paid in taxes the last few years, I bet he has many loop holes he uses and does not pay his share. Just like how he didn't have to pay interest on his defaulted loans, you and I try that and what happens.

Thats just it.. you don't know what he paid...yet you Assume that he pulled some kind of scam and didn't pay "his share." I bet this guy paid millions alone, not to mention what all of his employee's payed into the system. Get over the "rich bad" mentality. Did you ever work for a poor person???

so basically what i gather about obama, is he wants to appoint committees to tell me what, where, when, and how much im going to receive in medical attention, and let me float by if i choose to on another persons penny (mr. siegel) and join the rest of the 47% of americans WHO SIT ON THERE DAMN ASSES albeit 12% of those have earned it (retired) and run this country into the ground and give give give... its like a baby and its pacifier.

but about the email...... why not take the LOGICAL BUSINESS APPROACH, tax cuts and benefits for small business, allows more money to be put back into the business equals growth equals more employees equals jobs equals MORE PEOPLE PAYING TAXES. heaven for bid you have to EARN a living and not have it GIVEN to you.

its simple economics on a much larger scale....

say you have an item, you have 100 of those items, so does the guy up the street. the guy up the street sells the item for $10. supply and demand baby.... in order to maximize profits you need to sell all 100 of that item for the highest price possible as quickly as possible. the guy up the street is only selling a few, you advertise yours for $7. whose gonna sell more and make more money??

the same thing can be applied to how both parties handle taxes. obama is going to tax the crap out of small business making business more expensive and unattractive ($10 price of the item), romney is going to make it more attractive ($7 price of the item). obama isnt going to create jobs ($10 item has less demand, wont sell) romney is going to create jobs ($7 item has greater demand, will sell). obama isnt going to get the amount of taxes he needs to support the 47%, romney is going to get the taxes he needs to support the 47% and decrease IT, and the unemployment rate at the same time. and therein lies the solution.... more people paying taxes (# of product sold)
