fasteddie
I was in Dick's sporting Goods Store in Webster today . They have Federal rifled slugs on sale for $ .98 . Normally $2.98 . I thought about buying some but I only shoot 1 or 2 shotgun slugs a year . I still have some Winchester and Federal rifled slugs left . fasteddie
usual sale...truballs rock! what I didn't realize is that the price is with a $2 rebate per box making the final price 98 cents per box . I Believe the original price was $4.98 per box .
132 eight pointer
On sale for $2.98 then you cut the upc code from each box, fill out rebate form and send it all in so the final after rebate price is .98 cents. There is a $10 per houshold limit (5 boxes).I know because I did that last year and last month. Can't beat the price if you don't mind a little inconvenience.(don't forget the original sales receipt too). 132 eight pointer
what is the shelf life on slugs, gotta be pretty long ?? As long as ammo is stored in a dry, room temperature setting I have never had any issues. I have fired 20 plus years old slugs people gave me and military surplus from the 1970's that was stored in a sealed can(spam can).I understand if some people don't want to chance old ammo on a trophy deer however.
