ants
The more the merrier. I think mine is 80% but as soon as they come out with 100% I'm in!!!
Rev Ev
I have 80%, if I remember correctly, P&Y places an asterisk by anything over 60% in the record books. Edited October 17, 2012 by Rev Ev

crappyice
More important than the let off is the feeling of a "solid back" (i dont know if thats the right term) after it is let off. Sometimes I feel like the bow wants to go on its own. That I don't like
SteveB
I think mine is 80% but as soon as they come out with 100% I'm in!!! It's been here for 100's of years - crossbow.

crappyice
Not its the right draw... I checked it at my shop and i even had the sensation at the range with the guy who set up my bow. It mostly happens when I OVER-relax or my form breaks down or when. Punc the trigger...usually happens when I have not shot for a while..it's ALL ME! But I'd rather blame the equipment! biggamefish
Long bow for me so I get no let off either. My choice and i think it's a great one.lol
noahmstone
I was having this discussion last weekend. My wife's uncle was saying that he can only comfortably be at full draw for 15-25 seconds. He didn't know what the let off was off the top of his head but I let him draw my bow with 80% let off and he said other than it being left handed he could sit at full draw all day if he had to. The higher the let off in my eyes the better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk.
d-bone20917
None, I like a recurve better...my old compound has 65% Same here. Way more fun to shoot then the compound. I think that would be considered negative let off. The farther you pull the harder it gets.
