Bleat Cans - what make and size?

I know there a few sizes as well as manufacturers. I'm sure some just sound better than others. What do you use and why?

The larger ones are louder & the sound carries further.

The smaller ones tend to have a slightly higher pitch.

I have both, but tend to carry the larger one only .

I picked up one of these Extinguishers late last year. It's a pretty nice call.

You set the pitch wherever you want it. It covers fawns, does, and bucks with a wide tonal range for each with only the slide of your thumb.

I used it a few times over winter and haven't had it freeze up on me yet..... I'm actually hoping it does so I can see if it frees itself up as easily as it says it's supposed to.

Doe fawn call.

I use the the doe fawn call. It works awesome and have brought in numerous adult does and bucks with it. It's also smaller so it fits nicely in your jacket.

As for the "can" if you turn it over and blow in the hole,Ya I said it, you can make the sound longer and louder if you wish .

I use a M,A.D. heat bleat. You blow into it like a grunt call so you can make the call as soft or as loud as you want. I also like it because its quiet while walking through the woods. With the cans you have to make sure the cap is on securely if not they make noise when they move around in your pocket or pack.

i carry the primos long can, i have had great success with getting deer in and pulling them in from a decent distance away assuming the wind is not crazy. its a great call to have in the bag and i find myself using that one the most...
