arrow nocker
did the whole .55 mile hike to my spot before i realized i forgot my quiver at home on my work bench. It took me like 35 mins to do the walk in.I feel like such a dummy.Spooked every deer within two miles leaving the wooods. Thinking of just finishing my wood stacking an going in around noon. What do you think? go back in till about noon or go in at noon?
Big Indian
there are no deer at the house, and the wood can get stacked later

Geno C
Some of the best plans are the unplanned. Just when you think you won't see anything, there stands the big boy. Get back out there
Rev Ev
I always look at it this way: every minute I spend in the stand is one closer to getting my deer. can't shoot them at home. I would prob wait for evening hunt now.
arrow nocker
i went behind the house and sat in the rain for 3.5 hrs. in hopes of getting a doe.Not a deer in sight. But it was nice even though it was raining.I knew the answer before i asked it i guess.LOL.going to the other land for an evening hunt now. Doc
Lol ...... I have done similar things. Last time was my release. Yeah, I ususally throw a tantrum and depending on what time of day, I may decide that it is too late to try again. Man, that is aggravating! erussell
I would go back out. Ive learned my lesson the hard way. I bow hunted for 6 hr and never saw a deer back when I first started hunting. But I was seeing squills all over the place. So I went back home grabbed the shot gun and went out squills hunting. 20 min later I had a 8 point in the low 130'ish standing 15 yrds from me raking a tree and making scrapes the whole time standing broadside while I sat there with the side by side 20 gauge laying across my lap, yap wide open in amazement. He finally left and I ran all the way back home grabbed the bow ran back for the evening hunt and never saw another deer. Kot2B
Isn't that always the case, if you're deer hunting you see tons of squirrels. If you squirrel hunt you see deer. I've tried applying the squirrel hunting to my bow hunting but didn't ever help.

mark3885
I was wondering what a squill was. I laid awake this morning ,waiting for the alarm to go off. Opened my eyes to see it was light out allready. It was 7:30 , only an hour late, off I went ,saw 2 doe ,glad I went.
