Yes he did, it was looking right at him. That gun I have is pretty deadly (1187) with a scope on it.

A buddy and I are hunting Otis spots 44 and 45. I've hunted in there before but never this late in the season. Just wondering if we should sit tight and wait or try to kick up the deer. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I'm hunting Rocky Point tomorrow AM for my first time. What's the earliest we can check in at the ridge check station prior to hunting in the morning? I've been away and didn't get a chance to call them myself unfortunately.

Good luck Jimmy. I was out Friday ( Rocky Point spots 27,28,29) with my son and 4 buddies. We saw about 10 between us but unfortunately no shot opportunity. I did find a nice dead doe with a slug hole through her. Shot might have been a tad high but definitely a double lung......guess they lost the blood trail or just gave up on her. She was frozen solid. My guess is she was there for 2-3 days. What a shame.

Good luck. I checked my trailcams on private property by otis pike on tues and got a lot of different bucks still with full racks. Waiting for them to drop so i cam find them lol.

during gun i haven't heard of many with horns, plenty of shed bucks taken though
