tughillhunter
edited Wow. I didn't see where he said anything about leaving a gun in a trunk. I believe that is what gun cabinets and safes were invented. Sounds like you need some lessons in gun cleaning and proper storage of firearms. ants
Don't leave your guns in the trunk. At least not in New York State. They will rust. It has happened to me too.
Paula
tommy you should be embarrassed for the way your acting, you should be upset for what you did but not to take it out on the ones that you asked for advice from before you changed your post. It was total disrespect for a firearm. change your profile name. Trunks are the dampest place, use common sense. sorry ant

Paula
...and this is why I don't come on the internet. I understand, hard to read when someone doesn't want to own up to something they have done wrong. Funny Jeremy
hunterman7956
Just send it to remington and see what they do . Heck it will be better than doing nothing and in the future get a gun sock it is impregnated with silicone oil and protects rifles from rust related problems .Just put rifle into the sock and its protected .I store all my old winchesters in them and they work great. Hope this helps ...

d-bone20917
I think the gun is a lost cause. You should just give it to me and I'll dispose of it properly.
