Single_shot
Boy that looks good! Nothing like a warm crumb cake on these chilly mornings. Would mamma be willing to share the receipt? LOL. 2 cups Bisquick 1/3 C lowfat sour cream 1 egg 1/4 C milk 1C blueberries 2/3 C white sugar 1/2 C brown sugar 1/3 C flour 3 TBS melted butter Preheat oven to 400F This is a 3 part batter mix- do each seperate: First Part: Take sour cream egg and milk together and mix with a fork until moist. Topping is sugar, brown sugar, flour and melted butter mixed well with a fork, crumbly is fine as long as it's mixed ok. Take the first part and mix with Bisquick until moist with fork,no blender a rough mix is fine. In an 8x8x2 greased glass dish layer half the batter, half the topping, and half the berries. Then repeat that again on top of that. Bake for 25min until done...which may vary, check with a toothe pick. She had to go about 5min more.

Early
If I recollect correctly, there is a somewhat obscure NY law requiring all non-residents who pick berries in this state to share any/all baked goods made with said berries with any/all NY hunters. (And, if you don't share, Doc will sic the police on you!) Cake looks great....I will try it as soon as I can find some PA berries.

We have some excellent berry picking here....but keep an eye open for the bear, they want them more than you do.A few times the wife and I went for blueberries and had the dog and 3 kids with us. More than once we ran into bear.
