Rain!

Wow, did it ever rain yesterday!  Here's water coming around the culvert leading into my pond. I thought this would be a Spring event, not twice this summer. Happy to report it's working as planned.  ;D

That was crazy! End it with the rain already!! I want a few days of sun now for the foodplots. Hoping they won't be waterlogged and die from flooding!

There's still things that I wanted to finish up in the woods yet before this weekend. I went out last Monday in the pouring rain to do some trimming, just because I had a couple of hours free. Gotta do it when you can!

I still have 3 stands down at camp to trim out and finish Dad's box blind. I don't know if I will be able to get across the creek to get in....might have to wait til next weekend. Ithaca-Binghamton area got pounded from what i heard

I'm in Queens and its been raining hard since 5 this morning non stop.

They said on the news this morning that the east of Rochester got anywhere from 3-5" yesterday! From the forecast that I saw, they said that it's "suppose to be" sunny and in the 60's all next week. We'll see...

I heard this afternoon it was clearing up.

I hope so, it was like a river in front of my house this morning.  And a lot of street closures due to the flooding.
