Yhael
Upon hunting. I saw this so-called San Pedro Cactus.Have you heard the San Pedro Cactus? It looks new to me and I check this article https://www.trufflemagic.com/blog/trichocereus-pachanoi/san-pedro-cactus-effects/ about it and it is used as traditional medicine, veterinary uses, spiritual healing, religious divination, and ornamental purposes. And it really helps who experiencing nausea. Afterward, this nausea will wane and mescaline will take you on a hallucinogenic journey similar to tryptamine entheogen such as psilocybin. That's why it really helps.

crappyice
Anyone here on Morel.com forum? I just sent a “conversation” to some dude who is slamming the morels already - hoping he is willing to show me around since he’s from Westchester Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just sent a “conversation” to some dude who is slamming the morels already - hoping he is willing to show me around since he’s from Westchester Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI'm on there but haven't even thought to check it since it's still so early.Optimal ground temp for morels is 52° and I know we're still a ways from that here in the western finger lakes area. I had 1/2" of snow on the ground yesterday morning.Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
blackradio
I went the other day to peak at the ramps, I'll pick some next week. Nothing in my morel spots yet, usually I start finding them the second week of May.

crappyice
Yep. Pheasant back.Nice find crappyice Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk How long until they are harvestable? Those mica caps I found about two weeks back are GONE! and no one forages where I am. Seems like they just up and disappeared?!?! Does that happen to Mica caps- they seems real fragile Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PREDATE
I've actually never tried dryads saddle so I'm not sure how fast they grow. I plan on trying them this year. It is said that smaller(fist size) specimens are best otherwise they tend to get woody. Those which we presumed were mica caps are pretty fragile and pretty much melt away overnight. blackradio
Once the dryad's saddle gets dark and starts to curl on the edges, I avoid them. Will be tough.
blackradio
Morels should be up in some areas! Saw it on some morel maps I've seen for NY. The temp seems right. I'll check my spots in a few days when I have time.
blackradio
Has anyone successfully dug up ramps and planted on their property? I have a friend of a friend who wants to plant some ramps down in the city. Asked if I could mail him some. Any tips?

They differ from other Morels because as the name implies, only half of the cap is attatched to the stem. This was my first time finding half frees and from what I've read they dont get as big as other Morels.Sent from my LGMP260 using Tapatalk
Paula
I find the half frees all the time , I know they are editable but for some reason I leave them

blackradio
Good find Predate, never tried the half free. My buddy found some morels and gave me a few. Haven't found any at any of my normal spots. Not sure why. I'll be out more this weekend.

mowin
I walk 400 acres on Sunday looking for morells and don't find a one. Very new at this, and I probably walked by a few. Today I'm mowing a client's lawn, and basically in the lawn next to the woods, I spot what I think are morells. Unfortunately, the front caster wheel of the mower squished one and damaged the other slightly. So are these morells? In a way I hope there not, because that means I ruined the only 2 I've ever found
