Great Site for Pine trees

Hey guys, not sure if anybody knows about this site but i found it through the Fitzgerald s on Facebook.  Seems like a great operation they are running and the price doesn't seem bad at all. Its $175 shipped for 50 4 year old pine trees.  I'm going to split a box of 50 with my friend and use them to hide a new food plot that we are working on.  Just thought i would pass it along to anybody interested in getting some pine trees for planting.

When do you usually plant pines?

You can plant in the spring and fall. This looks pretty good. I bought from the Saratoga nursery and did real well with the White Spruce. They weren't as big but were a lot cheaper. This was 7 years ago, some trees are 6' tall.

No problem it looks like a real great place to get trees from. My friend and i are splitting a box of 50 in about 2 weeks so i will let you guys know how it works out.

If it is not too late, have you checked out a local tree farm or anything via NYS ?  That price seems high........

Many years ago I ran into Big Dan in a caribou camp.  That and watching his early hunting shows gave me enough of a reason to not think very highly of him or his son.

Here are some opinions of Dan & Guy from a few years ago.  Read all of them if you have the time.  The ones that speak poorly of Dan are guys with good memories (not good as in positive but as in they remember way back in history)

 

The bass record is one thing that I forgot about.  Actually, I didn't even know he was affiliated with the POS Noel Feather.  Remember him?  How about Kirt Darner?  Google those guys.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Dan when you met him.  Thanks for the link on the trees from DEC but those are only 2 year old trees and the ones i am going to purchase are 4 year old trees and bigger so they have more of a chance surviving.  I didn't order them yet but me and my friend will be splitting a box of 50 real soon.  Ill post my results once they arrive and i plant them.

I was real happy with my order. It is from Bosch's Evergreens who has partnered with Fitzgerald. Here are a few pics from this weekend. I planted 50 of them on our new property.
