Anybody else waiting for the rain to quit

Have some mowing I would like to do, but all this damn rain is keeping me out of there. Did manage to get some trees trimmed and cut, but really want to finish mowing. Apples seem really plentiful!

It's sunny and dry here after all that rain from yesterday . Got home from church and brunch and see that the neighbors had cut their lawns . Looks like a nice day .

Cut mine yesterday,even did some cutting in and around one of the plots.My food garden seeds just rotted from last months steady rain,apple trees looking good,they must like the water.As long as it rains at night as it has been the last 3 nights ,that's fine with me. One advantage of living on the side of a mountain,the water gust runs down and away. 82 and sunny right now ,that will dry it out some.

need a week of dry weather to get 2 acres plowed for turnips ... to wet to do anything but cut lawn...

We had an absolutely beautiful day today.  I spent the morning here in Buffalo and the afternoon in Waterport, Orleans County.  Sure got lucky as I see they had flooding again in the southern tier.

I wasn't able to get much done this weekend as my two boys had birthdays Friday and Saturday. Today was a beautiful day, but we had to attend a grad party for a good friends son at noon. By the time we got home it was 5:30 and I was beat from eating, drinking, and playing volleyball. Just hoping for a good night this week to get the plot mowed.
