F-150
when working in weather like this outdoors, I will run cold tap water over my wrists, just above the hand joint, the blood vessels there seem to help cool the body down.
landtracdeerhunter
Yes that does help. I also run my white T shirt , hat and hair under cold tap water before heading out to bale hay. My cloths are soaked anyways when finished. Get the cooling effect of evaporation on he body. They say it's not the heat, it's the humidity. I can a test to that. PREDATE
Good tip. They also make cooling neck wraps that cools your carotid arteries. Just keep one in your lunch cooler and use it often !

Dropping the body temp to quickly can lead to serious head gasket problems, LOL. Edited July 18, 2013 by landtracdeerhunter

Jeremy K
I'm working in a shop getting sprayed with cutting oil and coolant all day, it really helps me to wash my face and head with dish soap to get all the oils off, feels cooler instantly . Also I learned to eat lighter meals and drink a gallon of water with a bottle of gaterade mixed in with it .
