Thats awesome...I have a 300Wby Mag and love it. They may be over kill in alot of places but man if you hunt open hayfields where you may get long range shots....You will love it also!

I hunt hardwoods 95% of the time any field I would hunt would be shotgun only

congrats!!!, I never win stuff except 4 yrs ago on the same day I joined a local rod and gun club I entered a raffle and won the pot which was about $650, felt good to win but I ended up donating it back to the club as the raffle was a fund raiser and as the newbie I felt guilty keeping it, congrats again

I buy the gun raffle tickets at the annual game dinner. Haven't won yet. My dad won a blind and I won gun cleaning kit and doe urine in the cheap general raffle tickets so I can't complain.
