Besides what Grow already mentioned...

 

You'll have to prove that you have looked for a job, then say who you previously worked for. After that you can get a check after 2 weeks. The amount you get is a percentage of your income, unless you make more than the max amount. If you make more than the max, you will receive a check for the capped amount. You can either get the taxes taken out before the check or pay on the end of the year. Then every week you will either have to go online or call to say that you have tried to get a job. At least that's my experience with my employees. You may want to check into partial if your employer has some work for you. Good luck and hope you get back to work soon.

Go right online, fill out the application online, very simple, you get 1/2 your salary up to something like 450.00 a week.

NYS dept of labor, I tried to copy and paste but this site wont let that happen some how?

The max is $450/week? Better off working at a fast food joint making minimum wage.
