Today's break in the weather...we got all the fall chores  couldn't get done before ...I got the leafs raked...Mr B. got the basement storms on...we washed Windows...put away equipment...so on and so forth...no coats.. great fresh breeze...surprisingly little mud considering.....an early Christmas gift for sure....

It was mucky damp and foggy all day down here in south Ulster. I like the big freeze.

Oh I'm expecting a wht Christmas on the hill...rain now but temps dropped like a rock...there will be a dusting at least...predicted high of 22 tomorrow.

It is really bad here.......still lots of people without juice. It will be a terrible Christmas for plenty, sad deal.

15 here tonight and 06 the next night and a sunny 20 degrees for Christmas.

We'll we have power, ice melted. Thankfully, no yard trees down.  Farm land has 2 feet of water over it. Now the creek surrounds the house. Say 15 degrees tonight. Looks like Merry Christmas at home this year. Last time this happen, county had to get a road grader to break through the ice on the roads  Ten wheeler plow truck sat in it for 2 days. We'll be pulling the rugs up soon in the kitchen, boots by the door, LOL.
