Just as Americans signed a petition to send him back to the UK, a bunch of people from the UK actually started a petition refusing to take him back.  No joke.

Rationally speaking, Piers Morgan's down fall was the fact that he always pushed his opinions and never allowed his quest to speak if he disagreed with their opinions.  Unlike Larry King (or any other interviewer who acted with any kind of professionalism) who would solicit opinions with a completely unbiased stance.  Piers invited several pro-gun enthusiast onto his show and every show was the same...it was Piers yelling at them and they never got a chance to talk.  That is where he failed as a journalist.

 

Why he got hired in the first place was beyond me.  His career track was on the journalism side is littered with shady activities and false reporting.
