My first attempt at a European

I decided to do my own European mount on my deer. Not only was it fun, but I really enjoyed all that was involved in prepping boiling, mounting. It was much easier than I thought, just time consuming but very worthwhile

 

I am so satisfied with how it came out and wanted to share, it kept me in hunting mode as I did it, and also got me thinking about this upcoming season.

Nice american skull mount...but not a european.... the top pallet (where the upper teeth attached) is removed in a european. Good job cleaning it looks good!
