Starting to see birds in Cortland County all over the place strutting. Getting to be that time of year!!

Gobbling should start soon, that is if the weather gets nicer!

OMG cabin fever.  Need to get out!  Come on warm weather.  Going to try for a yote before the season ends!  Can not wait for turkey!

This morning I drove by the farm I hunt and there were about 8-10 turkeys in the neighbors yard all around his bird feeder..Its time to start annoying my wife & daughters, with my turkey calls..

    Had 2 nice toms  fanned out & gobbling in the backyard the last 2 days. Both had 8" about beards.  Also had 13 hens that were yelping back & forth.  Nice to see & hear!

Haven't been out doing any scouting as yet, still very cold out and wintery too. Maybe when the temps stay in the 50's for a spell I can get more serious on the scouting.
