They can really mess up a vehicle!

Last spring while driving back from Tennessee I saw one fly broadside into the windshield of an SUV. The damage was unreal, making the vehicle undriveable. Quite a sight to see...........

I've seen what a turkey can do to a windshield. Not good.

Had an encounter with a pheasant on the 4-lane 219 near Orchard Park. Doing 60 and the darn bird decided to fly directly across my path...bird lost the duel. fortunately for me, the pheasant hit the passenger side portion of the windshield, hitting the curved area of the glass where the most strength was. Puff...lots of feathers.

One flew into the side of my buddies brand new Nissan Maxima. Beautiful car, all black. It hit the passenger side door. The side view mirror disintegrated, the window broke, and the door had a huge dent in it  that looked like a bowling ball hit it. Unreal….. I think it was around 5 or 6 grand worth of damage.

had a friend hit one with an F150 needed new grill and hood...could not believe the damage...
