I have never seen such fat deer in all my years...there are doe with big ole sway bellies.  Huge shoulders and flanks...dang there is going to be some scale tipping this year...what have you been seeing?

I know of a big 'ol stud buck that has been packing on the weight this summer. There won't BE a fall hunting season if he doesn't shed some weight.

By me they were kinda on the thin side 2 months ago, they sure put some weight back on since then. I even notice twin fawns hanging out not too far from the house are out there eating after there rest while there mom is out there filling here belly.

Moms and the babies sure are in good shape. Bucks look real good too. Maybe 75 lbs. of meat good, LOL.

It sure did help that it was one of the largest masts on record, hard and soft. Plenty to eat all winter.

I have seen some big deer. I'll pull cards this weekend and report back. Going to camp for 3 days with my 10 year old-all fun-n-games!
