Silver deer

Now I know there are white deer and piebalds but has anyone ever seen a silver deer? Last weekend I stopped at my taxidermist to pick out my pose and he was working on a silver buck. I thought it was a mule deer at first. Just wondering if anyone else had seen or shot a silver deer?

No, I never even heard of such a thing. I'm trying to picture that. Are they something that looks like human silver colored hair? I would love to see a picture.

It was all grayish silver in color no brown what so ever

I'm thinking that is a very rare color phase. I would like to see that.

I agree with the rare phase. Personally If I shot it I would have done a full body mount but that's my opinion

heard of black (Melenistic) white, albino, piebald, im sure silver is a possibility but must be rarer than all the others
