Raspberries

I was at Golden Hill State Park yesterday had a bountiful picking of raspberries to make a pie and put some away in the freezer. Aside from the berry thorns and some bugs to deal with, it was a pretty good day. Anybody else have wild berry patch they go to every year and pick some berries?

I think those are Blackberries, not raspberries. I haven't eaten any wild ones from NY but I have had them in on my property in Europe. Cant beat the taste of a fully ripened blackberry.

Yep those are blackberries. Raspberries and black raspberries are gone now. They were ripe about a month ago.

I have a few patches of blackberries(I call them thumb-berries) to get lost in for a couple hours.

Thanks for setting me straight on the berry name, I've been picking them for years and never got it rite!! I am going out for one more picking today!!

Been picking 5 quarts a day. Berries are nice size and very sweet this year.

Last time I checked they were still green by me 2 wees ago. Might ride around today and check them and the cams out.

Have a hand full every morn. with my O's.
