i don't know about where you guy's live in the state but all this black friday sale thing at the local Dicks and Gander Mountain looks like total BS. yea theres a couple items they are trying to unload at good prices but it doesnt look anything like last years deals on rifles, stands, blinds, etc. the prices are the same as they where way back in October??

do the stores think we have become so stupid that we will just buy anything because they have a big banner out front that says huge Black Friday Sale.

Got up at 4am to do some shopping, everything that I needed was gone by 4:45 am. The funny part is that the flyers and the commercials said they will open at 5, and the sales would run from 5-11 am. I do think I was snoukered because, the was like a thousand people already in the stores.

Dick's has a coupon for $25 off any boots that are $89.99 or more . They have the Rocky's Sport Utility Max boots on sale for $89.98 and they don't fall into the category of the coupon price as they miss it by one cent . Now that sucks !!!

I looked thru the ads last night. Someone had a 24 gun fire safe on sale for $450 which I though was really a good deal, since I paid $360is for a 14 gun non fire rated several years ago..

I went into the Dick's in Webster . Bought a pair of Gortex Boots , 6 pair of WigWam socks and a set of flashlights . I had a $25 coupon . What I purchased had been on sale and again reduced . The bill came to $114.96 . Used the coupon and my Gift Cards . Now I only have $13.62 left on a gift card . Woe is me !  ;D

We went this morning. I picked up 2 ladder stands for $99. Well, my fiance bought them as an early xmas gift, but it was a good deal. They had some stuff but not like in the past. I didnt even see a GM ad.
