nyslowhand
Guy has deer on-site he extracts/collects scents from, so it is natural urine. His products are as good as any other natural deer scents. If you've used doe estrus on a dragline and had a buck follow it - you swear by it. If you've used several bottles and had no bucks attracted to it - it seems to be a waste of money. Same goes for all the other commercial scents available. Pretty small business (North Country Products), so call before heading out there if you're local! Pretty sure he also has a few retail outlets that sell his products. Believe he has a Facebook presence, but no official web site as far as I know. Being a natural scent, they need to be stored accordingly, it does have a relatively short shelf life and should be refrigerated during early bow season. Cabin Fever
http://www.northcountryproducts-fingerlakeswhitetail.com/ I've used his scents for the past 2-3 years. Nothing against the scents, I just haven't had any luck using them. I buy directly from John's (the owner) farm and the scent is as fresh as it gets. fasteddie
John Bacon has a place in Lyons , NY where he collects the deer pee . It used to be sold in a lot of the DICKs stores but Corporate Policy forbid it . A few of the gun shops , etc sell North Country products and it gets stored in small refrigerators at those places . John has done a couple talks at the Local Sportsmens Dinners .

John has done a couple talks at the Local Sportsmens Dinners . John is a very good friend of mine and a customer, he has the best and freshest scent you will find in Ny state. I know he brings his doe's into estrus before he collects,,Doe In Heat. Many guys just collect urine during the month of Oct and Nov and call it estrus lure. Far from it. I have shot mature bucks the last 3 bow seasons running as they were bird dogging a scent trail i laid down with John's scent. Most people do not know how and when to use scents but once you learn it and watch bucks react to it you will never hunt from Nov 3rd thru the 17th without a fresh bottle in your pack. I know i never will.
fasteddie
John once told us that one of the Bucks on his farm tried to kill him . He also had pics of bottle feeding fawns in their kitchen . He also explained how he used a blowgun with darts to bring the does into Estrus .

Im sure John was using the blowgun to tranq the doe to put cidr's in to sync the does so they all come in at the same time!
