Northcountryman
What do you guys think of this story? Found this on Twitter from Bolton- who is no Trump lover, by all accounts- hits the nail on the head here. To me, this election interference, plain and simple!! https://x.com/SaltyGoat17/status/1737454544773132507?s=
Grouse
They did it to prove how activist they are. The SCOTUS is going to hear the case and Trump will be on the ballot. Then leftists will scream the SCOTUS is corrupt and move to pack the court with more activist judges like the ones in CO. "A state court has found Trump guilty of a federal crime with which he's never even been charged, based on informal allegations of unlawful conduct that took place 2,000 miles from the court's jurisdiction. This is patently absurd." —Ed Morrissey "The U.S. has put sanctions on other countries for doing exactly what the Colorado Supreme Court has done." —Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL)
Shoots100
More Kabuki theatre for the lefty slugs to feed on. I wonder how much it cost George Soros to make four court justices give up their ethics ?

Grouse
The Colorado Supreme Court has now set up expectations for Democrats across the country that Trump can be legally barred from the presidency — and when the Supreme Court overturns that Colorado Supreme Court ruling, they will claim that the Supreme Court itself is rigged. All of which means that 2024 is going to be the most insane and ugly presidential election in American history. And that's saying a lot, since 1968 and 2020 are both years that existed. Under what circumstances, precisely, would Democrats accept the result of a Trump election? Under what circumstances, precisely, would Republicans accept the result of a Biden election? The weaponization of the legal system creates an all-consuming fire, burning everything in its path. There is simply no 2024 result likely to result in anything but complete — and perhaps violent — chaos at this point.
Northcountryman
Agreed; this is setting the stage for potential political violence, ultimately leading to civil war , i'm afraid.

My thinking is; this is all meant to try and raise enough tension to actually trigger a response from people who have had it up to their ears with the obvious BS. This in turn will give the political overlords a reason to lock everyone down, instill fear, further divide us, label and lock up people who speak out, so they can take control over the next election “for the sake of our democracy”. I hope people see through this scheme, remain peaceful, and don’t fall for their trap.
