First-light
Last week or two coming into my driveway My lights shine on a clover field. 20-30 each night. Didn't see this last year. Are we approaching an uptick in population?
landtracdeerhunter
It could be a lift in population. I know the clover been growing the last month or better here. Deer visiting with prints in the soil. Some of the low spots with standing water, have grass greening already. I can't say I've seen many years like this one
Daveboone
Me thinking simply a mild winter, deer herding up around food, but several mild winters in a row will certainly help the population...until the next real winter wipes them out due to overpopulation. Shoots100
After the 2022 winter and EHD deaths, there's bound to be an uptick in population. You know the population is getting high when they start to sell those deer whistles for your car in gas stations. LET EM GROW
The deer are in the best producing fields this time of year, so a field will draw deer a mile away etc.. The warm weather has made my clovers turn green and stand up already. The deer will certainly hammer them.. Population is definitely up in 8P there's no doubt about that. Our property you can easily count 50-75 deer a night feeding
