Bobcats

Damn things are multiplying like flies just over the border in PA. Every night we’re getting photos of them.

I’m right across the PA border in Cochecton and got a bobcat on trail cam for the first time. Been hunting there 29 years and never saw one.

In Howard, I saw a video from my neighbor last year. I have yet to catch one on camera.

Have spent much of my life in the outdoors and have yet to come across and actually see a Bobcat.

The areas I hunt just does not seem to be the right habitat to support them.

Bristol bobcat up in one of the blue heron nests. Wish I had had a bigger lens on the camera at the time.

I was hiking up on top the hill behind the house when I heard all the herons making a racket over where I knew there was a rookery. I wandered over and saw several herons circling all the nests and then I saw this guy thinking he was hiding from me.

I saw 4 during rifle last pa season. Prowling  the edges of the fields. We’re gonna get a trapper out there this coming year.
